Small Boat Voyages

The latter half of 2025 spoiled by back injury, and subsequent relapse in October left me thinking I’ll need to make some drastic adjustments in lifestyle. So be it. The watchword being ‘downsize’. Smaller house, smaller boat, smaller car, smaller garage etc.

We have now sold our house and moved I to our new home. I had all intentions to take Tarka to lay up at David Moss Boatbuilders where she’ll stay until sold. I purchased a smaller lighter boat for sailing adventures. I am looking forward to sailing in 2026. Then over the winter with continuing physiotherapy my back condition improved. Occasional relapses sent me to bed for a few days to recover but things have been improving.

Tarka is now at Glasson Sailing Club where I’ll continue to care for and maintain her while I consider what to do. I’m feeling less inclined to sell her but I know she’ll have to move to another owner some day.
