Been busy polishing metal with brasso and oiling topside with Danish oil this week. I’m rubbing the oil in with some 320grit wet and dry to re establish an even surface. The mixture of oil and ground dried oil from previous treatments helps to fill in any open imperfections in the surface.
Temperature have soared this week so its time to cover up. I put some dust sheets over the deck to reflect some heat as temperature in the cabin reached 37 degrees Celsius and humidity plummeting to about 24pc.With the help of my friend Mark we put the summerhouse up in about 20 mins. So the next job will be to drop the mast and push the rig under the canopy.
Temperature and humidity trace in the cabin for this week, noting the high tempurature and low humidity have been avoided from Thursday onwards after moving Tarka into the shade of the summerhouse.
