Small Boat Voyages

Sailing season is starting, but I might miss the first few sailing opportunities, reluctantly, since I’ve recently been suffering from acute leg pain caused, it had been suggested by a doctor, by using them too much. Especially the right leg since that one hurts more, worse when I lie down. So for this year’s laying up procedure, as a final step I’ll make sure I remove my legs, especially the right one, and store vertically in the sail loft or other suitable place, and instead get around in a wheelchair until following season starts.

I had towed Tarka to the sailing club in Glasson and had hoped optimistically to prep the boat for sailing over several weekends. But time spent actually doing anything on the boat was short, most of the time went on travelling there, socialising, playing music and travelling back. So after a couple of weeks of not making much progress I decided it would be better to have Tarka at home where I can spend some real time doing boat stuff.
