Another weekend at Glasson and could be the last one this year. I wanted to try using the car with the new push towbar and electric winch so for the first time in a tidal stream trying out the new launching procedure.
The launch was a little unusual, because of the rapid flow of water it was easier to pull the boat through the front of the trailer to avoid the the tidal stream.
The plan was to sail up the river Line with the flood and moor up against the river bank near Snatchems for a pint of beer. Then when he tide turns and then return sailing down with the ebb back to the slipway.
The retrieve was a little frantic as I’d left it a bit late getting back and the levels were a bit low but I managed with a little help from some club members.
