The opportunity of fine weather trip grab a day sailing on Bala. We pitched up at a local campsite the day before so that we could get an early start the next day.
The day we sailed was beautiful, very calm weather just what we needed so there was no rush and we could practice our manoeuvres at an relaxed pace.
Time to reflect on the work to date. The keel guides making launch and retrieve easy were the biggest advancement. However there were still issues making ropeing out into deeper water somewhat laborious. A friend suggested an electric winch might help and this planted a seed in my mind, to think about.
