Things to do during Lockdown

I was supposed to have two days coaching on Bala but the second day was postponed and then cancelled. Victim to Covid.

I’m still working full time but contemplating retirement. Now I can stay at home all week as long as I continue to put in a full days grind. Kind of spoils it but then the weekends also feel frustrating as just when I think of going sailing and getting some more experience I’m not allowed to. All I’m allowed to do is look wistfully out of the window at the full moon and just imagine.

To fill in the weekends I devised a few pleasurable tasks. But then end up doing some decidedly unpleasant things….

The year twenty twenty had it’s challenges but some good things came out of all that time at home. I polished up Gudrun my beloved mk2 Wayfarer and made a small repair to one of the benches. One step forwards. Flooding on the driveway. One step backwards. Made a bucketful of parrell beads. One step forwards. Kept myself from getting bored by doing some woodwork. A shed. A work bench. A sewage plant. A year to remember. Not.

Thinking what to do next
Parrel bead experimental
Parrel beads win I surrender
Ropework to pass the time
Shed making in progress
Is it a shed or a playhouse?
Mk2 Parrell Beads
Flooding on driveway
A bucket of mk2 parrell beads
Refinishing Gudrun
A workbench oddity
Repairs to Gudrun
A home built sewage plant
